Busy week ends... :)

Fryday has come and Jan returns from up North and I won't be solo anymore. Love today being my first rest day before Sunday's race. I intend to learn from Landis and stay hydrated over the next few days.

Cold sore starting to heal and eye almost entirely gone.

Will use Landis' stage win yesterday as inspiration. An amazing feat!

Bring on the weekend. Enjoy...

I'm back

Been busy training for Sunday's race and being both parents. Eye infection is just about gone. Got a cold sore but, trying to beat it too. Tapering for race and feeling pretty strong. The TDF has been wild. Listening to Landis' breakaway... It would be incredible if he could hold out... not sure though... It would be very cool despite the bonk yesterday.

Wonder if any one actually reads this hehehe...

On the mends I hope..

Well had a rough sleep and so I didn't ride this morning and cancelled my training Saturday with Lawrence. Too bad... hope to at least try the climb up the escarpment before the Grimsby race next Sunday.

May ride tonight if the eye feels better. Went to the doctor to get a better prescription. Really bugging me... guess I'm having to taper a bit more than usual. Will be a solo parent for the week with the girls. See how it goes.

Nasty eye infection :(

Woke up with a nasty eye infection. Still rode and posted a pb again after a good nights sleep and missing the tempo run with the boyz. Averaged 37.4 over the 45min. Got to watch the TDF in bits b/c I was working from home. Wicked race in the Mountains I picked Floyd for the tour and he performed well today.

Swam over lunch and started working on a merchandise site for EB Games - very cool and fun to do. Stupid eye is buggin me. Was hoping to train with monster triathlete Lawrence Saturday. Will have to play it by ear er... eye.

Tour de France hits the hills

Listening to the tour on at work. Should be a cool day.

Had a great ride this morning averaging 37.1K for the 45 minutes. Tough to get heart rate up but, once I'm going I felt pretty strong.

Lots of rain last night and still raining. Giving old wetsuit to Mike for his triathlons. Hope to try my new one this weekend during a training bit with Lawrence in Grimsby.

Beginning to Blog...

Working from home today. Woke up early and rode bike on windtrainer ave speed of 36.4 for 27.49K. Girls are going to Wild Water Works. I'll swim over the lunch break. Keeping an eye on the TDF. Tomorrow will be exciting b/c it heads into the mountains.
